This part-time role will require you to provide assistance to our airline partner in a busy airport environment.

The Role:

The Business Development Manager will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. They will be responsible for generating interest, qualifying prospects and directly closing sales. They will also be accountable for the maintenance of client relationship, issue resolution and the overall development of expanded business opportunities for the brands.

  • You will also be involved in:

    • Provide exceptional customer service experiences to passengers.
    • Handle transactions for all onsite ancillary payments including excess baggage, reservation changes etc.
    • Prepare and submit various flight inventory and financial reports.
    • Assist airport manager and ground handlers in all tasks related to aircraft arrival and departure.
    • Handling of booking disruptions and schedule changes to the satisfaction of our valued clients
    • Identify and fulfil the customer's needs
    • Identify and provide appropriate service recovery to dissatisfied customers, with a focus on first point of contact resolution.

About You:

  1. Must have rights to work in Australia.
  2. Proven customer service experience.
  3. 2 year's experience working in airport/airline role.
  4. Bahasa Indonesia language an advantage.
  5. Must be numerate, fluent in both written and spoken English.
  6. Education to a minimum of High School Certificate Level.
  7. Must be a quick learner and can work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  8. Willing to work weekends and outside of normal business hours.
  9. Flexible to work additional hours during disruption periods.
